30+ Snack ideas for busy people

You’re in the middle of a meeting, driving a kid to soccer, rushing from one thing to the next. When your stomach calls, you must answer! Snack ideas are one of the most requested topics with my clients. Try having snacks on hand when you don’t have time for a full meal yet. This will keep you fueled, focused, and energized throughout the day.

Non-perishable snacks: keep in your purse, gym bag, desk drawer, or car. Place in a designated bin in your pantry so you know what to grab in a hurry.

  • Trail mix
  • Nuts
  • Nut butter pouches
  • Dried fruit
  • Fruit leather
  • Shelf-stable protein shakes or chocolate milk
  • Granola bars, protein bars
  • Mini bagels
  • Whole grain crackers
  • Dry cereal (high fiber)
  • Carnation Instant Breakfast (mix with milk)
  • Dried seaweed
  • Jerky
  • Canned or pouch of tuna
  • Instant oatmeal cups (steel cut oats)

Perishable snacks: Keep in the fridge, grab it on your way out the door or pair it with a non-perishable item for a between-meal boost.
